Shortly thereafter, she was elected President and is excited to help launch the Houston Chapter of WISE, the leading leading voice and resource for professional women in the business of sports.

Potter earned her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, andimages has remained connected to the University. As an undergraduate, she was elected and served as the first female student body president and was awarded a Presidential Administrative Fellowship (PAF) for her graduate studies. Potter now serves on the Executive Committee of the Dean’s Board of Advisors for The George Washington University School of Business, interviews students for the GW Admissions Office, and co-hosts a Summer Send-Off for incoming GW students in the Houston area prior to the start of their freshman year.

She grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, where she was valedictorian of Mercy High School.  Omaha is still where her parents and most of her family, five brothers and sisters, five nephews and two nieces, reside.  Another interesting fact is that Potter was the writing assistant for a book about Babe Ruth.
